CMF Phone 1 will come in bright colours and also have a removable back panel

CMF Phone 1 launch is getting closer every day and the company is using all the hype around the product to push new teasers ahead of its launch next week. We have talked about the rumoured CMF Phone 1 price in India, and some of the hardware features so far. But now, the company has shared an interesting update that brings the CMF Phone 1 into a unique category.
CMF Phone 1 Removable Back Cover: What It Offers
The new teaser from CMF By Nothing hints at the phone coming with a removable back cover. The brand has even shown a small screwdriver that could be used to unlock the panel and help people change the colours based on their preference. The post from CMF says, customisable, functional, yours. We have been eager to hear more about the screws visible on the back panel and this new update confirms what we were hoping to hear or see from the brand.
But does the removable back cover mean the battery will also be replaceable, just like the old feature and smartphones? We’re still not sure of that being possible, mostly because of the unibody design that most brands have adopted for their design in the last few years. Either way, CMF Phone 1 could surely become a phone to watch out for with its unique colour set and yes, the panel which can be replaced.
The CMF Phone 1 launch price is expected to be under Rs 20,00 as per latest reports. It is also said that the CMF Phone 1 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series chipset, most likely the Dimensity 7300 unit. The device is tipped to feature an OLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. Recent leaks hint at a dual rear camera system but the sensor details are missing for now.
Nothing is likely to continue its no-charger-in-the-box mantra for the CMF Phone 1 as well. Nothing will also have two more products lining up with the CMF Phone 1, one of them is said to be smartwatch and the other will be wireless earbuds.
