Poco F6 brings HyperOS, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 90W charging to the table
Poco is using the new Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset, offering HyperOS out of the box and a fast-charging adapter too.
Poco F6 has been announced in India this week, making it the latest from the company’s F-series lineup. Poco F6 was already confirmed to be the first phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset in the country, but now we also know more about the device which is also the first Poco phone to come with HyperOS version out of the box. Poco has focused on the F-series with aggressive pricing over the years, and the hope is that the company will stick to its ideology.
Poco F6 Price In India
Poco F6 price in India starts from Rs 29,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB variant, going up to Rs 31,999 and 33,999 for the 12GB + 256GB and the highest model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, respectively. Poco F6 will be available through online channels via sale in the country on May 29.
Poco F6 Specifications
Poco F6 gets a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate screen that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The F6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage which is non-expandable. Poco is giving you the HyperOS version based on Android 14 out of the box, and promises 3 OS updates for the device.
Poco F6 comes with a dual rear camera system that consists of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor. The front of the phone features a 20MP shooter. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast-charging speed with the 120W adapter in the box. It also gets stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor but no headphone jack which is hardly surprising anymore.
