Coming from a completely different background, Chunky Panday had to endure a lot of struggles before following his passion for acting and making his name in Bollywood. Recently, in a media interaction for the promotion of his upcoming mini-series titled Industry, the actor shared about his struggles, which garnered everyone’s attention. Chunky Panday said, “My struggling days were very different; there were no casting directors or digital media then, so we had to wait in long lines in front of the producers’ offices. To meet them and show them photo albums, we also had to dance in front of them and also do scenes from popular films.”
He added, “It was not easy, but it was fun. Well, those were my struggling days. I was a part-time car dealer, so I got a chance to drive those cars. Every day, I would go to the producers’ office in a different car.”
In the concluding segment of his interview, Chunky Panday also shared about his recent project, where he has worked with a number of new-generation actors. The actor said, “It was great to work with this new generation of actors. Working with them inspired me to move forward. I learned a lot from this experience. I am eagerly waiting for the next season of Industry.”
This TVF series, Industry, revolves around the life of Ayush Verma (Gagan Arora), who is a screenwriter. He desires to build his name in the film Industry.
