Ducati DesertX Rally Launched in India; Check Prices, Features, Specifications & Delivery Details

Mumbai, April 30: The Italian marquee Ducati has officially launched the all-new DesertX Rally adventure motorcycle in India. The brand has opened order books for the motorcycle across all dealerships, and the new DesertX Rally will be on display starting May 4, 2024. Ducati’s DesertX Rally off-road bike is priced at Rs. 23.78 lakh (ex-showroom India). Deliveries for the bike will commence by the last week of May.  Staying true to its Ducati lineage, the DesertX Rally sports a new livery making it easily distinguishable from the DesertX. BMW R 1300 GS To Launch Soon in India.

It also comes loaded with more features to enhance off-roading adventure including a high front mudguard, Kayaba suspension and shock absorber equipped with a larger piston, spoked rims and much more. The powertrain has remained unchanged for the Ducati DesertX Rally. It has the same 937cc, L-Twin engine which also powers the standard DesertX, and the brand hasn’t made any changes in the state of tune. The unit makes 108 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 92Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm and comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. 

The DesertX Rally off-roader comes equipped with plenty of electronics. It includes 6 riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Enduro, Rally), 4 Power Modes on 3 power levels, ABS Cornering Bosch adjustable on 3 levels, Ducati Traction Control adjustable, Ducati Wheelie Control, engine brake control, cruise control, full LED lighting, 5-inch colour TFT instrumentation panel with the brand’s Link App support and turn-by-turn navigation, Ducati Quick Shift Up & Down (DQS), and more.

The DesertX Rally gets an adjustable Ohlins steering damper, fixed directly to the handlebar to enhance handling on off-road terrain. With the new suspension setup, the ground clearance of the DesertX Rally has increased by 30mm to 310mm from 280mm.
