Nothing Phone 3 flagship model could see this big design change
Nothing Phone 3 launch is confirmed for June and it will be a flagship phone. Now, the company has shared an intriguing teaser which talks about removing one of the iconic highlights of a Nothing phone. Phone 3 will take the company to a territory not only because of its price tag but also because Nothing might ditch the Glyph interface for its flagship device.
Nothing has offered this update with a post on X this week, where the company’s CEO Carl Pei replied with ‘RIP’.
Glyph Gone, What Next?
It might be a bit premature to talk about Nothing removing the Glyph interface, something that the brand has offered on all the Nothing Phone models since the first version. Phone 3 is undoubtedly going to play on a higher table which suggests adding these features, and then offer premium hardware along with a camera could really push the brand to increase the price of the Phone 3.
If Nothing does feel that removing the Glyph will allow the hardware and camera to be high-end, most people might actually be on board with the idea. Some people might say that Nothing Phones have differentiated with their transparent design and the Glyph lights.
It will be intriguing to see how Nothing plans to replace the interface and if so, do we also see the end of the popular transparent look from this year? We’ll get all these answers in the build up to the Phone 3 launch in July.
The Phone 3 will be Nothing’s fourth phone to launch in the market in 2025, and its first flagship device after giving it a miss in 2024. The new leaks will surely excite people about the upcoming Nothing phone and what it promises in terms of features and other specs.
The device is likely to sport a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. We are keen to see the camera setup on the Phone 3 which should be revealed soon. Nothing Phone 3 is expected to cost EUR 800 which could be anywhere between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000 in the Indian market.
